Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.
Hello Fishes, please let me know how are projects in BCMA department under ICG group in city bank. I have an offer from city which I have not yet accepted considering many negative reviews of work culture in City. However HR said I am not sure about other departments but you can check for BCMA dept with friends or on LinkedIn. Please help.

It honestly depends on the company and how fast they are looking to onboard someone and get them going. The average amount of time that I've experienced from an interview to start date has been around 2-3 weeks, but I know people who have started their job in a week or less after their interview. Wishing you lots of luck on your interview, hopefully it works out!
Thank you for your input, that’s helpful to know. This position is with T. Rowe Price. (I was on their page so I thought my question would automatically be linked to them.)

It depends on a lot of things. This time of the year things go slower because of vacations. But background checks, drug tests, etc. can take time and are dependent on the workplace.
Thanks!
