Try taking some classes on linkedin learning. There are several on those topics that can get you basic knowledge and more if you put in the time. Better than reading imho.

I'm probably leaving the practice of law in Q12023

I am the junior attorney at a small PI firm (5 lawyers). I love my job and my firm, the partners, and my colleagues.

I have another opportunity that is important to me, so I'm planning to step away.

I have maybe 10-15 lit cases that I'm "responsible" for. Some of them are tar babies that I know the partners and my colleagues would hate taking over, but I don't think I'm willing to wait for resolution on them either. Thoughts?

I’ve voiced that during interviews and they all said “things would be fine”. MORE BELOW
