I have been working in HKA for less than a year only so not your best reference. The company is growing worldwide and there should be opportunities for growth. However, depending on your location, you may end up working with a lot of Kenrich Group (KRG) people which is a company that was acquired by HKA. They still operate as a boutique small firm which has its pros and cons. WLB is good in general but has ups and downs depending on work load and deadlines, while comp is not that great and pretty much standard for the industry as a whole.
Hello, would it be alright if I privately messaged you about HKA? I have an interview and wanted to know if it’s worth it
Thank you this is helpful. Do you mind me asking what grade are you and how do you find career progression there?
Also I can see that they specialize in commercial / construction disputes. Do you get any fraud investigation projects too, or is it really heavily focused on disputes only?
Did you ever get an answer for that?
Always feel free to reach out to our global recruitment team who can answer these questions honestly too. Or email me...Kate Wood, Partner, Chief People Officer katewood@hka.com and I will help.
HKA's culture is collaborative, honest and high performing, always putting our clients first. We are constantly trying to improve and build excellence...we also have lots of fun.
As an HKA colleague mentioned..."the company is growing worldwide" and our people are authentic, so every day our culture evolves further.
Trust this insight is helpful.
