How supportive are your companies when it comes to taking PTO for mental health days?

Does anyone else catch themselves using vacation time just to try to catch up on what seems to be an unending pile of work? #sucks

Just realized I carried more than 20 vacation days over to VY2019. Days, not hours. Whoops.

28th Jan(after 2 days) is my joining date in one of the organisation.. meanwhile I get a call from one of captive company for final managerial discussion scheduled for today itself.
I doubt they can release offer in just 2 days if all good, having said that tomorrow is holiday.
Ques- should I tell after 2 days I have to join one of organization. Or can I tell, still I am with current organisation and serving np, probably 60 days left and wait for their offer..

I have an urgent situation that I need advice for: what job to take? I currently have 2 job offers. Offer A (Scientist 3): 70k with full benefits including 15 PTO days and 5k tuition assistance yearly. It was sent to me last Wednesday and yesterday they left me a voicemail asking for a decision at my earliest convenience. Offer B (Manager): 76k with full benefits minus tuition assistance and only 5 PTO days first year (15 days after). Both companies said they'd groom me to take management roles.

Happy to report: Did not fall into any honey trap at the holiday party.

Outside of salary, what other things have people negotiated as new hire, I’ve seen more PTO, working from home, sign on bonus, even stock options? How have you negotiated these things especially if you are new to negotiating? Any books or references that gave you a great foundation. I’ve been on my job search from sometime now and getting more interviews, I’m willing to take a pay cut, but wonder what else I can ask for outside of more pay? Thanks

What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). I have experience across multiple industries (tech/telecom/Pharma (dermatology)/beauty and skin care and I am looking for a Director or VP role (my last job was a VP). Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?

Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. I was told by the director to not mention it to anyone but I figured if anyone knew I got one it’d be my boss. I feel super uncomfortable now because do I essentially lie to my boss because I’m not supposed to talk about it.

I have been selected as a Technical Consultant for PWC India On-campus and they have mentioned that Internship starts from January, but there is not particular mention about a Internship Offer letter. And so far the Placement cell has only circulated a Offer acceptance google form. There is no official notification from PWC India as well. What else can I do?
