Expecting an offer this week or early next week, but want to know when you start negotiating the salary? When you receive the call from the company or wait until receiving the formal offer letter? Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

I'm getting the vibe that a deep understanding of infrastructure and networking is required (e.g., talk us through a best practice auth flow, what is the role of a reverse proxy, layers of OSI model, give example of sidecar pattern) is required which is quite different than a GCP sales engineer interview (with qs like what is difference between object and block storage, what is HA and DR 🤣)

Interviewing client side for the first time, what are some good questions to ask that one might not think about at an agency?

How did your agency handle layoffs? All-agency meeting before they started? After they ended? Both?

Kinda sorta trying to predict if I’m losing my job tomorrow.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
