Can I claim baggage fees for business travel if I got free baggage because I have a delta credit card with annual fee that I personally pay?

Get a credit card that provides you statement credit for baggage fees ( i.e. the gold and platinum personal American Express). Thus, you have a receipt to show that you actually made the purchase incase you get audited and you can still make your money. Been their done that.

$25 dude. Really worth it? If you felt like you needed to ask the question you already know the answer.

like

Sometimes I read postings on here and I'm like "do you really work in the same profession as me?" 🙄

like

That seems unethical.

like

It is called "reimbursement". Did you pay for it?

like

Big 4 manager here...unethical. Don't do it.

like

Oh god! Is it a crime to ask? Why are there non-big4 personnel to quick in criticizing?

like

Some ppl are cheap. There was another guy on this site a few months back who was bragging about how he expenses an extra lunch for his wife every day.

like

No you can't. You aren't actually paying the baggage fees but just an annual fee for a credit card that is personally yours.

like

Only a matter of time when you don't have a job to request the reimbursement

Seriously??? How about you take a maternity leave because you would have a baby if you could.

It was your choice to open up delta CC to get bonus points (which are worthless btw)

like

Actual expenses only, buddy

like

Got it folks! Not doing it!

like

You didn't actually incur that expense and you're submitting it as one? You're basically coming on here and asking if you're allowed to submit fraudulent reimbursement requests. What an imbecile...

like

Reading these posts I get the impression that most of you were supposed to be on an early AM Delta flight just to find out it was cancelled.

like

Nope. At the D its $75.

like

Well, op, think long and hard whether 25 is something you want to sacrifice your integrity for (and possibly, but less likely, your job)

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?
