It easier than raking?
Every person I’ve seen use a leaf blower, blew them onto the street or into a neighbor’s yard
You need to move to a better neighborhood then
So you don’t have ugly dead leaves in yard?
Maybe the leaves are a fire hazard?
I don’t know either and have never done it.
No should blow them into a pile and dispose of them. Luckily my yard is driveway or planted in in trees and shrubbery and mulched and no grass. So mine just get blown out of the drive.
Faster than raking. Not getting the leaves off the lawn will kill it. And they are ugly
I discovered this last year and saved me so much labor! I will never rake again!! The leaves in my yard are small and sink into the grass and smother it.
Blow them off the driveway/sidewalks/patio so that when it rains they don’t get slippery and gross. And to remove them from landscaped and garden areas. When they’re on the lawn you can either take or mulch them with your mower.
Leaves are perfect for mulching any beds you have. Total nutrition for your plants.
I’ve wondered the same. My observation is it’s the not in my front yard strategy. I don’t care if they’re in yours (or the street) as long as they’re not in mine.
