Can someone please help me with vocabulary? The students I work with are English second language and are low with English vocabulary. Also, because of covid, the students missed some of the early foundations. It seems like the phonics gaps are closing but are still struggling with vocabulary. Is there something I can do to help them increase vocabulary skills?

Not noticeable but have heard prevention is everything for this and am following the exact pattern my grandfather did, who had thick hair like mine and then was bald by 30.

My father took a home loan, and the same home is kept as mortgage.

I googled a lot how to transfer it but neither gift deed nor sale deed would work as the property is on mortgage that's under bank's ownership (until loan is fulfilled).

I am looking for ideas for a high school intervention class with students reading at PP-4th. I am a brand new teacher and have never taught intervention but we are extremely short staffed. I inherited the class mid-last semester and the former teacher had no framework whatsoever. I'm pulling grade level texts and trying to work on reading fluency and comprehension but don't feel like what I'm doing is effective, and the students are not very engaged. Any great resources I should check out?

5th grade ELA teacher in search of novel ideas and resources .

We have a large unused professional library that includes a variety of authors, topics, and lots of the scholastic teaching resource books. Most are more than 5 years old, some much older. Some multiple copies of titles that were book studies over the years. No one is using these books and we need the space. I hate to just dump them in a trash bin. After setting them out for people to pick through at school, what can be done with these materials?
