I really hate open floor seating because as a team and account lead, everyone interrupts me during the day and I am left to do my actual job after 6 PM. And I'm still at the office at 1 AM.
My agency is about to introduce slack, but they want to hear from us first. I never had any experience with it. While I mostly see this with good eyes, I also heard about enabling micromanaging and disrespect of your boundaries.
Wondering what your experience with it is?

I connected with a partner at a commercial real estate company about my career pivot & this company having a potential position for me. I’ll be meeting this partner in person for the first time in a few days. I wana make a good impression yet I’m nervous since I just got rejected after a formal interview. What are some good questions I should ask when meeting people in high positions like this? I wana take advantage of this connection to get the job I’m dreaming of

Not the account or the work, but rather the food itself.
I’ve been in TA for 10 years and have been wanting to be an HRBP for 2 years now. My prior company had no interest in helping me develop and started with a new company 4 months ago. I was transparent from the start that I wanted to leave TA and was told I could do that within my first year. I’m receiving signs that I’ll, once again, be pigeonholed in TA. I’ve done talent management, DEI, engagement, but my lack of direct BP experience and TA titles keep me pigeonholed. What can I do?

Hi! I just had a first round interview for an analyst position at Facebook in Dublin. They asked me to provide an expected salary range, but I don’t know what is typical for analysts in general with 1-2 YOE. Any ranges? (I just moved back from the US so I have no decent anchor to compare the salary to)
