Quiet quit. Make them let you go and take the severance while you find a new job. Or get one lined up. Don’t over-achieve and give them more than you can mentally handle since you’re already one foot out the door it sounds like.
I did this and maybe it took around 4 months until I was laid off. I mentally felt better, got unemployment, had more time to find something better for my career. Please don’t quit OP, it’s really difficult to find a new job right now. Just stop caring, it’s liberating.

Don't make a decision about your future when you're in a bad mood. The ledge isn't the place.
Same, definitely not alone :( I’m sorry to hear this though
Id definitely spend some time looking for a viable alternative before walking out.
If you can afford it (job arket is rough now), you should leave.
Quiet quit as others have shared while leveraging that extra bandwidth to line up your next opportunity. While the market is brutal don’t let that discourage you—your hidden gem is out there. I left the industry, and what was considered sexy, where I had the most toxic and diabolical leader at a holding company as a manager and landed with a manger who is kind, strategic and smart and more importantly knows how to lead. I left a cycle of where I felt I must work around the clock to the most work life balance I’ve ever had. I left a culture where recognition was only for a select few to an environment where it’s embedded in the DNA. All this to say, it can be so much better and make a strategic move that protects you financially and mentally.
Take a couple days off or a day and give yourself a break. I know a CD who left without anything lined up and he was out of work for most of the next 8 months.

You need to talk YOURSELF off the ledge, you climbed out there yourself. I don’t know what your situation is, but you should look into some mental health support. Such a dire statement tells me you either need attention (which you are getting) or you are doing it wrong. Which is also likely. Either way, a trained therapist can help you work through your issues and help you find a healthier way to engage with your work and the world. I wish you peace.
No need to blame OP for the state of the entire industry.

OP needs to care for themself and their mental health. The industry is no worse than any other.
