This maybe very specific to IT folks, but can be a question in general for all folks around here.

How do you guys upskill yourselves and stay updated with whats cutting edge in market given your firm is not working on the latest stuff, which is very highly likely scenario.

I agree, there are courses, certification and stuff to show off your new shiny skillsets on resume, but how do you manage to stay relevant to it post course/certificate completion?

I was recently selected for a role at Google and my on-site interview was scheduled, all rounds went well but the last one which was with the hiring manager I had completely bombed to a point that my eye contact on screen made him suspect that I was googling answers which I wasn't.

Is there a chance I will pull through considering better performance on other rounds or I am done?
