Talent without hardwork is nothing. Remember that. I am in the same position where backlog friends are earning more than me in IT.
And guess what they did extra, they kept on the hustle.
Nothing personal, but you are feeling entitled that you were smarter and better so you should be ahead of them. Life never works like that.
Two things I have learnt, never be entitled, work for everything in your life.
Secondly, don't bring negative vibes into your life. I have first hand seen it.
My backlog friends don't give a f**k about their technical knowledge, future etc as compared to me. They are happy for everything they get.
Someone , somewhere is always better than you. That's the truth. So, rather have more dimensions than just your career. You can be above average in sports, cooking , photography follow that. That will give you even more fulfillment and self worth.
There will never be any point comparing yourself with someone else....life is never fair and it will never be.... entertainers ( even with basic education) earns far better than a high level scientist... majority of uneducated goons sit at highest level of positions in this country....yes jealousy is a factor which will always be there but it's only going to burn you and not the other person...the idea is always to look at people who are surviving at far less than you....focus on things such as good health and mental well being and understand that nothing is more important than your family and people who love you unconditionally
Kismat ka khel hai + Hardwork + being with the right people
Follow A simple rule - Never compare yourself with anyone. Everyone has been though some hardships or struggles
There will always be someone doing better than you. You'll never compare with someone who is below you and hence, inferiority complex will eat you up
I was in top 10 but never top 5 in school. Aced my engineering with ease without any backlogs while my top ranker friends got backlogs. I'm doing better than most of but then i never compare myself with someone still doing better
Be. Content where you are
gold class advice
You have already got great advice. I'll just say my 2 cents.
If you and your friends are both salaried employees in india then, at the end of your 30 year career,
You will have x plots of land, they will have x+2 to x +5 plots and all of you will have enough money to live a good life as you have worked for 30 years.
So do you want to get stressed on whether you will leave 1-2 less piece of land behind you when you die??
Focus on work life balance, personnel growth and keep investing in urself and enhancing your skills and earning.
In the end it is more or less the same.

Everyone has their fair share of luck and it depends on how you decide and use them.
Much Appreciated advice.
Actually i want to accept the fact that "being unlucky" is also a thing regardless of hard work. and stop noticing people and friends who are doing good than me knowing that they were behind me in school or college or in start of career.
Recently i got some elevated BP also due to stress at this young age. Just wanted an advice to be stressfree and no overthinking.

Another advice. Health cannot be bought at a later stage. If you are issue free, that itself is a big win in life.
We should actually compete on health as health is in our hands completely (apart from genetic issues).
Compare your health to the healthiest friend, and try to beat him/her.
So relatable post bro.. I feel it most of the times.. :( its not that easy to not to feel that way.. But do we have control on luck.. No.. So i guess we should just stop over thinking maybe :)
