Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? It's NYC, we block roads all the time. I could say the same thing about how trumps celebration party literally blocked 6th and 5th aves with dump trucks. What about marathons, Veterans Day parade, or New Year's Eve? This happens all the time. acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, you may only be finding this "inconvenient " because it's something you don't agree with
This is stupid. What is it that people even want. This is how results work in a democracy.
Trump won and he is going to be president and nothing can change this now.
I don't like the result but I do respect the system of rules that both candidates competed within.

People have the right to assemble & protest. But the second you impede the freedom of movement & travel for others, then fuck these guys. (Full disclosure, voted for Hillary)
Right, protesting should be done in a manner that is convenient to everyone else, so no one has to care about it.... This was basically implied by the comments made about Kaepernick’s protest on the field

Freedom is fought for, not earned. Protesting is part of that fight and struggle. It's for awareness purposes
The right to assemble and demonstrate is fine but when you cause grid lock - you aren't helping your cause with many people. I find Trump deplorable but he won and perhaps these people should have done more a few weeks ago or protested when it was learned thst the the DNC actually obstructed the democratic process during the primary.

@M1 you sound like a robot just repeating what you see your friends say on Facebook. There has been more violence from the left than from Trump supporters this entire cycle. Using fear as an excuse to throw eggs at women, chase people down and beat them in the street, or destroy a neighborhood's businesses and property doesn't make it okay.
I'm clutching my pearls now... I criticized the protesters recently, but this sort of alarmism is uncalled for.
