A few possibilities:
You're not highlighting your experience in a way that matches the role requirements
You don't seem like you really want the role
You give them a pay range that's too high
I’ll bite and I’ll be blunt. You need to assess your strengths and opportunities, and put a strong structure in place, which seems to be your main problem from the looks of this post.
What are you expecting to get as responses when you’ve provided such little context in your question? Where do you need our feedback? Unless you’re just looking for sympathy.
Again, to be blunt, you need to work on more than just an elevator pitch. Based on what I‘be read from you, you need to elevate your communication skill set - learn how to communicate with impact, and keep well structured and coherent throughout. Best of luck!
Possibly the biggest stopper at this phase is salary expecations. Go on GlassDoor and make sure youf expected salary Ligns with the role and company.
Drink some coffee and get amped up and EXCITED. Not coke-level excited but excited nonetheless.
This reads almost like something Archer would say
How many YOE do you have? Despite the shortage of employees, it is still incredibly competitive at the principle/director/senior director/VP/head of product levels
Is all 12 yoe in product? That seems like a fair amount to get a director role, but if some of those aren't in product that could make sense.
Frankly, if you aren't getting past tech screen, something is off about your resume or your ability to communicate your background and how it fits the role. Tech screen should be a slam dunk, so I would focus on shaping that conversation.
