Starting to think about making the switch from agency to brand side. Any tips from strategists who have already made the jump? And is there a level at which it makes the most sense (i.e. should I wait until I make Director and then make the switch, or does it not really matter)?

I notice social strategist tend to get way more into the executional portion, even writing copy etc. whereas brand strategy tends to roll off once the briefing process is done. Does brand strategy ever go on shoots or vendor/production meeting and are they responsible for it? I’m a senior planner leading one brand and there’s a new strategist on the team working on a sister brand.
