Paying off student loans with a tenure commitment. Also if they let you go you don’t owe them back what they paid. Game changer.

THIS!! It should absolutely be a perk since we have to get a degree to get the job. It's like we are paying to make an investment in someone else's business. They should pay something.

Ease in home loan and vehicle loan by partnering with banks on lower Interest rate.

A la Carte benefits package - "don't need this family planning surrogacy benefit of 10k? Well then, how about $10k towards the down payment of a home?"...something like that would be cool.

This is free advice too...if the companies taking it could offer something in return, I'd be willing to share that story of steps towards equity on social media 😉

Free in-house massages. We should be able to set up an appointment and have someone come and give us a chair massage at our desk. Or better yet, how about an onsite spa so we can book free massages whenever is convenient for us.

I have a friend who works for a University. A common "perk" for most University employees in the US is 50% tuition grant for employee kids. With the cost of colleges so high in the US, this is a tremendous benefit

Daily lunch stipend or the ability to expense meals + coffee!

To this day, I do not understand why paying for children's care is not a perk. I know that some places offer daycare in the building but it should be as practical as healthcare.

The same way that there is paternity or maternity leave, you should be able to take a leave for helping an ill spouse or parent. I know that people will say FMLA but that is very limited.

like

FMLA protects your job, but doesn't pay you. Often even for mothers in the US they have to use short term disability, if they have it.

A mandatory monthly mental health/self care day scheduled so that other team members work when someone takes that day off. That way work gets done by someone on the team while their peer takes a mental health day. It helps others see the value of team members and forces people to learn other skills and helps people empathize with their peers.

Some sort of caretaker stipend that covers adult or childcare. One of my coworkers is so stressed out taking care of her son and her mother that she comes in with bags under her eyes everyday.

Cleaning service for your home once a month

24/hr payroll deduct daycare.

I get a chuckle reading some of these. Would love to see how they are paid for without blatantly saying “take from company revenue or profits.” Because, let’s face it: most employers are not going to open up the treasure chest just to be benevolent.

Sharing knowledge on how benefits are paid for would help facilitate better discussion and or ideas. Like, I think a la carte could work if companies weren't greedy. I also understand that companies probably have a model in place to know the usage of each benefit and therefore create a benefits package that optimizes less spending on their part vs actually caring about how its employees utilize the benefit.

I’ve made it 5+ years in a NY M&A practice and have consistent exceeding expectations reviews. I’ve had a few mental breakdowns because of work during this time, but thankfully made it through. I’ve been in a near constant depressive/anxious state for family reasons for the last year and half, and am soon having my first kid. I’m scared shitless that I’ll spiral out of control both at work and at home if something doesn’t change soon. Any suggestions on how to keep this job and keep it together?

Hi fishes, after completing 3 months probation, after how many days we get the confirmation ? Even we get the confirmation or not ?

Growing up was rough. On my 8th birthday my dad had an accident that led to this death a few days later. He was a good man who took care of us all (I had 3 siblings now 2; lost 1 few years ago). I'm in a good place in life right now I only find myself in the last 5years shedding a tear once a while when I'm alone. It startles me because I was a tough kid who didn't cry and just soaked it all in and rolled with it. I'm almost 40 and can't explain what's happening with these tears.

I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?
