I have received an offer in TCS accepted it and submitted the documents for BGC. The CTC i mentioned is 13L in iBegin portal and uploaded the same recent hike letter. But my current company retracted my offer of 13L and salary/payslip are with old offer and i have submitted documents with new offer letter which is 13L. I am little concerned it might impact negative on my BGC.. Any suggestions . please Tata Consultancy
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet,wfo,forceful mandatory trainings,imposing strict restrictions on laptop,access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work.But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Google, Amazon, and Facebook waaaay far behind. I would never work at Facebook for moral reasons and I believe their best days are years behind them already. Netflix and Google may be tied, heard Netflix culture can be toxic. Google depends on product
Thanks for responding. Yeah I definitely don't plan on being remote 100%, at least in the beginning if I'm starting a new job.
Microsoft/Google/Facebook >= Apple/Netflix >>>> Amazon
For business and product roles, I simply have no complaints about Microsoft. It is as intense as you want it to be. It may not pay the highest in the cohort you mentioned but is absolutely comparable with consulting firms for non-Partner levels.

Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Netflix, Apple.
Reasons: Seattle is much cheaper to live in, and M/A are in or close to the city, so commuting is fast and easy vs a haul from SF to the south bay. Msft wins on WLB too. Amazon culture is more intense but seems to be calming down over time.
Google is best in the bay, with Facebook slipping behind due to culture/wlb rumors. Netflix and Apple seem particularly cult like, so they are last for me. But Apple is dead last for me because they are a product focused cult, and I prefer android/pc, and that would be a big problem there. Netflix seems to be cult like regarding how they run the company, which is less likely to conflict with my product/media preferences.

Google, FB, Netflix/Apple, Microsoft ?
Why?
FB has a somewhat better culture than Google but it’s more coddling to their employees

Netflix culture is pretty well documented. It’s high burn but high reward
Responses so far are pretty interesting—doesn’t seem like there’s a clear consensus
