Conducting recruiting interviews tomorrow. Ideally find qualified candidates who are satisfied by job, not complaining work sucks. What should I ask and what response should I look for?

Why would people be interviewing with you if they were totally satisfied by their current roles? It’s okay for them to broadly say that work sucks, but only if they can drill down and give you specific reasons why.

I think good questions to ask would be what they actually do like about their current roles, and what their current team/company is doing well. It’s always easy to rattle off things you don’t like, but harder to take a step back and give credit to the role you’re looking to leave. It also gives you a better idea of whether you and your firm can offer the same positive traits to the candidate.

Have interviews set up at FAANG co and getting good signals, for a position that was posted widely (all across US) but not remote. Haven’t broached the subject of location yet. Would you (1) early on clearly state that you’re not open to relocation but that you would be open to visiting a big office once or twice a month; (2) not say anything now and wait to get an offer and ask for an exemption; or (3) something else?

I am a young professional... But every job interview I’ve had so far pretty much just wants to know what kind of person I am. They are as interested in my leadership/communication as much as they are in me talking about my experience.

Is this how it will always be? Or is this predominantly because I am in lower positions at this point in my career?

Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

Hi Team,

I have cleared all the interview rounds (WebEx & HR on call) for the position: VERIFIER, and also submitted documents (authentic as per my knowledge) for background verification on Aug. 25, 2022.

How much time usually ICICI bank takes to generate Offer Letter, after all the verification process??

Just realized I hadn’t had an in-person interview since 2019. I’ve done multiple zoom interviews and was onboarded remote in 2020. About to see a real person today! Wish me luck.

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.

Hello,
I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
