ADVICE NEEDED: I just received a job offer in a new industry. An industry I’ve always wanted to try, but maybe not in the right practice. However, it’s not a bad offer and I’m scared it won’t come again. Do you think I should wait a few months and keep applying until I find a job that I am 100% happy to take without hesitation or does it usually never work that way? Thanks!
The Great Resignation is upon us. The most impacted industries are tech and healthcare. For the ppl quitting, what company and role are you moving to? Are you moving for better pay or wlb? Both?
How do you find the time to apply/interview? I’m working a burnout style project and desperately trying to find a new job but have no free time nor energy to prep 😭
Considering applying to Jackson Lewis. How much could I expect to make as a 8th year? What's the work life balance like? While expected billables on paper are 1850, what's the actual billables they expect you to bill?
NYC, rising 4th year, V5, M&A. In July, I got the call from the partnership that I should begin to “explore other options.” I always knew when I left, whether on my terms or not, I would exit to finance. It’s been a rough transition. Been pretty discouraged and hit a low point of shame & apathy in August. Just wanted to say that I finally landed my first formal PE and IB interviews this week and am beginning to feel hopeful again! I think it’s all gonna work out.
How do you break into PE Ops from a mid tier consulting firm like Accenture or the big 4?

Any opinions on working at workday? I have a first interview for a role on the corporate side. Anyone have thoughts on working there or know if I’d be able to keep my workday certs up to date even though I wouldn’t be working in a consulting capacity?
Exit options after 6 months in ZS? DAA here. WLB has landed me in hospital twice and my client seems to only care that in my absense, work gets delayed. Also, please recommend any skills one should/can learn on weekends to enhance selection.
Thoughts on cyber exit opportunities from B4 to tech or defense firms with 2 years of software security experience and active sec+? Have heard work life balance and hands on experience are more common in industry

TL, DR: comp for Sr Manager in public accounting, for hybrid internal audit + performance improvement role? LA based. More info: Just got promoted to Senior Manager in a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm. LA-based. What comp should I expect? I have my salary discussion this week and looking to benchmark. I’ve been in usdc for less than a year and I like the work for the most part but I’m really feeling not great about my salary. If I found a competing offer do you think usdc leadship would try to retain me given I’ve been here for such a short amount of time?
How do you reimburse a mouse?
Acn people: Got a generic email from TFS taking about things to do when on the bench, it also mentioned we must now be in the local office everyday, legit or ignore?

Has anyone not practiced “ casing “ and was able to still do well in an interview? I feel after a certain time spent in the industry you naturally start to understand the goals / potential pros cons of business’s.
I hate using Microsoft Teams.
Heard WIPRO's variable/bonus pay is paid out quarterly. A friend is waiting for an offer and have been communicated that 15% of their expected comp is variable. What average percentage of 15% can be expected to be paid out in a normal year?
I'm about to interview for a VP position at a startup but have never managed before. Is it smart, as a Black woman, to ask directly about support for mangers (ie supporting me is one of my reports didn't want to listen to me, etc)? Or maybe I can ask but very vaguely and indirectly? This is a 2nd (3rd, 4th & 5th over the course of the next 2 days) interview that includes the founders of the company.
How much does big 4 pay for risk / internal audit for an experienced senior in NYC? Would 90k be on the lower end?
Can anyone provide insight into Deloitte Consulting GPS salaries? I have a call with a recruiter this week and would like some insight. I have 2.5 YOE (I'm up for Senior promotion) and the job requisition was for a finance operations consultant. Thanks in advance!
