That consultant in the pic is only 26 years old.
UPS drivers deliver 100x the value of your run of the mill consultant. Surprised it took this long for the comp to level out.
No lies detected
170k is total comp plus benefits. Also they are required to work for a few years through various positions to reach that figure. Please do proper research

Have fun not being allowed to take any PTO between the week of thanksgiving and new years
Any major US holiday is busy for cyber (response) as threat actors know there is less eyes monitoring. I'm speaking from an incident response perspective though.
Isn't it about $100,00K base after you've spent several years as a driver? And don't forget you have to work as a part-time worker in a warehouse before even becoming a driver.

It’s total comp, not base. And being a UPS driver is a grueling job. Why would anyone who already has a pretty cushy job in consulting choose to do it?

On the note of police officers making $500K and still not understanding basic driving laws, I’m off to bed

When you’re a worker so you’re happy that other workers are getting fairly compensated. Those jobs are tough and they have to work their way up. I’ve actually worked in an Amazon warehouse as well during college and it’s a tough job as well. If you’ve ever had to work a job that tiring, you’d be happy for them. The crabs in a bucket mentality will get you nowhere.
I knew something was funny when I started seeing this figure in multiple major news headlines, I only found out after digging in a little bit that the number is inclusive of benefits.
Who the hell includes "benefits" in the salary number? Clearly UPS is the one putting this information out there to the press.
That being said they probably still make more than me 😵. I'm not mad at it because clearly they're generating more than that much in value if the company is able to pay them that much. And they unionized, so now they're seeing the benefits of it.
My truck driver uncle who is only a few years older than me amassed more wealth than me. Our incomes are not too far off.
The opportunity cost of school and heavy student loans were my biggest killers.
