I was just given notice that my position is being eliminated and I have till April 15th to handover my work and get severance etc. My 6 year + H1-B visa is currently getting extended in premium processing and should know by March 30th. The employer is not paying out my 2021 bonus and holding it back until then, when they have paid everyone else out. My perm is currently in process and was filed 11/15/2021. I am confused on what to do, can someone please provide suggestions.

While I’m not exceptionally upset about my current pay in b4, I know for a fact if I made a vertical leap to another b4 I would get a nice bump in pay. I’m debating applying to other firms to try and get an offer to potentially leverage for more money where I am now. I obviously want better pay but also don’t want to leave everything I know for a new place. Thoughts?

I have recently been offered the same role (Client Services Associate) at Morgan Stanley and Macquarie. Both offices are in Melbourne, Victoria, AUS. Both have a generous pay package. My priorities are to join a company that is open to new ideas, recognises hard work and have opportunities to grow and move up the ladder (my goal is to become an analyst in the minerals/mining space).
