As a result of #metoo, it was revealed that now a lot of male supervisors and councillors are refusing to train/guide their female juniors. Most of them don't want the hassle of being accused of sexual harassment.
What are your thoughts on this?

McK because of what you will learn. It will position you for a better role in the future. Doesn't FB have stack as part of the package?
McK 100%….. you’ll be able to get into Facebook later in life if wanted with McK on your resume plus waiting to go your base with only rise making it more realistic to live at Cali prices
I'd take MCK. Mainly because the money will be worth it in TX over CA.
Take Facebook, jump to other FAANG in 6 months or so and double your money
Both of these offers are incredibly low. I was at $105k tc in big 4 consulting with 1 yoe and $250k in faang with 3.5yoe. I had a higher title in big 4 though, so I guess the question is why is your title so low at McKinsey?

Facebook. Unless you have kids, need a house, and are caring for family. Then you need those extra pennies.

I would take Facebook if it was 120k TC in Austin, but 120k in the Bay Area? Not even 120 base would make me want to move there…
McK BA by far. You’ll be broke in CA on that salary, and well off in TX
Facebook will give you equity that Mck can't compete with. Silicon Valley wealth is built using equity, not base salary.

I read the post that the TC (including equity) is 120, meaning something like 100 base, 10k bonus, 10 RSU?
Stay out of that Dumpster fire and don’t bring failed progressive policies to the Lonestar State!!
(Waiting for triggered libs to comment)….
I would do Mck for several years and then roll in the dough from exit opps after several years
If FB offers 160K I’d take it. If not McKinsey!
Coach
Does that include target bonus for FB

Yes, it does

To answer a few questions: the TC at FB includes the stock options and target bonus…SA1 nailed the breakdown to a T
I’m at the Consultant level at Accenture and my skills are typical - SQL, PowerBi, Alteryx, Azure DevOps and such
No family and such so I could move to Cali and be broke for a couple years but my exits seem slimmer since I’m only doing Project Manager work at FB
Stock options or RSUs? At my faang there are project manager roles and program manager roles - slight nuance. Program managers tend to coordinate large cross functional teams and manage multiple big projects, whereas a lower level project manager is usually more tactical around nitty gritty project details/execution. Project Manager -> Program Manager -> Product Manager is not a crazy leap.
McK? Nah go to bain

I feel 4 years is where I would struggle to start over at McK… but ignoring that fact, I would go to mck unless you can get the Facebook offer higher. 120k in SFO is easily the same as 60k in TX.
Just curious What skills you developed during the past 3.5 years?
Think Mck will put you at associate level if 4 or more years out of college. 110 is a bit low
