As a result of #metoo, it was revealed that now a lot of male supervisors and councillors are refusing to train/guide their female juniors. Most of them don't want the hassle of being accused of sexual harassment.

I am in Bangalore my junior (female) joined in A different city, She was new to the module and a bit less hands on. I tried to train and upskill her, motivated her to do few certifications, and showcased what she did in project to higher ups. I don’t shout don’t ask to turn on video(its not needed for work), don’t ask her to be online when there is no work, and have clearly told that if work is done or not there, she can be offline too.
In my last company, testing team was all female, we had to assist them technically and we became good friends, they even told about their aspirations, their personal life n all.
One thing, if some one new is really not comfortable about working late occasionally I won’t force, shout, threaten or intimidate her.
Secondly, I will also NEVER be alone with such resources, and only be around someone trustworthy.
If a resource don’t work or follow when I need, I get in a difficult position and have to extend extra and maybe ask others to do their job. Despite knowing that females have home responsibility and travel constraints.
P.S. - I follow the same with my other junior who is male.
Sometimes yes, but even males are not that mature to understand responsibility.

@tata consultancy1 justice or truth comes later, for corporates the company's reputation is only thing that comes first. So even if it's just an allegation, high chance the guy might lose his job because it could drag the company name into this which they don't want. Dont you remember the Sikh guy accused by that girl in Delhi. He was innocent still lost his job at just a mere allegation.
Post me too things have changed drastically for all those males who used to behave properly in pre me too era. Not addressing those changes is a diff thing altogether
I am going to say one thing - if a false accusation comes on you, your career is over. Even if someone is not doing anything wrong he can still be falsely accused and loose everything. I am not going to deal with this possibility at any cost, period.
I didn't get this point. If you don't do any such activity while training female Junior then why it will create issue?
