Conversations or expectation re-sets with clients around the “reality of 2020”?
Ie: Pandemic, deaths, quarantine, work from home, remote school learning, layoffs, economy, isolation, politics, police brutality, civil rights protests, forest fires, riots, police state tactics, RBG, plus all the other “normal” bad things. It feels like the elephant in the room.

Recent graduate with Bachelors of Health Science in Workplace Health and Wellness. Currently working in a Healthcare job but as a client service coordinator. Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. What’s the best way to negotiate more money during a contract to FTE conversion? My manager and I had the conversion convo today and he said he’d like to convert me immediately and took the action item to do so. In terms of comp he said they should already have what I’m expecting but I don’t think I communicated any FTE number to my contracting company. In this job market with all the layoffs, should I count my blessings and take what I can get or is there wiggle room.
