When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Hi everyone, I’m in need of prayers. My mom was admitted into the hospital recently, but they just found some nodules in her lungs. Their default diagnosis is cancer, and she does have a past history of colon cancer. Please keep her and my family in your prayers. Nothing has been finite, but I can’t help but prepare for the worst & hope for the best. The only thing getting me through this is my faith in God. I do hope this message encourages you to hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight ❤️
