Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower.
