Currently a C at Deloitte with 2.5 YOE, not in strategy. I am considering an offer from Strategy& for an Associate level position with 100K base. This salary is almost equal to what I currently make, so the only benefit would be the brand and firmly positioning myself in strategy, where I want to be. But I would also lose my network and various other benefits by leaving D now. It seems like I should reject it and try to move into Strategy at D until I find something better. Thoughts?

Fishes, I have a job title question. Does it matter if a role is in the same project with different titles? Example: SA, State and Local, Researcher vs SA, State and Local, Business Analyst. The job description makes it sound like they are the same project. However, Business Analyst does have more requirements/qualifications listed than Researcher. I’m coming from industry (3 YOE). I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.
