My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.

Does anyone have any tips on conquering fear of flying? I have a phobia that I will have a panic attack on the plane while flying alone. I just got prescribed Xanax just for the flight but have never taken it before and would love to know if that has helped you? (I’m not scared of crashing or anything, I’m just claustrophobic and hate not feeling in control and have panic attacks about having panic attacks haha.)

I currently make $21 is it possible to negotiate a higher pay grade since I now have experience and good rep? Most techs start off at about $36 or 54k on average from what I've researched.

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). It’s one thing daydreaming about leaving your company and getting that 20-50% raise offer to stay…it’s another when you actually resign and get that offer. Becomes a lot harder to turn away from.

This feels a little low to me, especially after setting aside ~28% for self-employment taxes, but it would pivot my career more into edTech which I would love.
