Hi fishies, I am currently working as a Manager at Accenture for one of their MDM project. I have received an offer from Axtria. I have asked for 40% hike on my current CTC. There is no WLB in my current project, hence considering Axtria. If someone can help me understand the work culture in Axtria especially in BI segment.

If the new job is going to make you more happy then go for it
Having worked at D before, my view is BCG is trying hard to be a D or an Accenture. Real strategy work is diminishing fast. I came in at the same level as D but regret my decision. I struggle with my WL balance, miss my network and generally feel miserable all the time. It depends on the support you get when you come in and people who you work with. I have seen people making it work as well. In my case, having seen both, I feel D might have been a better and optimal long term choice that lets you balance family, work pressure and income.
BCG2: What did you expect?
Yes. There are only upsides to joining MBB.
Not true at all - experiences hires (PL+) are hired mercenaries who get 1 or max 2 shots to prove themselves.
You probably already have enough data, but I wanted to say in since I also made the jump from Deloitte to BCG. For me it’s been 100% worth it. I work harder... but growth is accelerated, cases have been more impactful, and the exit opps are markedly better.
Damn, so I just need to change my LinkedIn to say BCG?!
I find it odd the comp would be a step behind. Level, sure. Which area of BCG?
Yeah that’s correct, it’s not traditional BCG
What level are you at? What practice are you joining?
Recently dealt with a similar choice and decided to stay.

Do you find yourself doing more strategy work now, or before?
Talking about Corp. strat, BU strat, growth strat
Been there done that, I did it, it will depend a lot on the group you’re joining.
Yes
