It’s a complex question. It all depends on what you really want. I worked in-house for a short time, and yes, the pace was good but the work was incredibly dry and soul sucking. I work now again in an agency (it’s the only world I really know) and it’s so stressful and the hours so long that I feel I need to go in-house again. Maybe looking for the right kind of in-house is the key.
