I applied to Amazon job in LinkedIn . Got a mail to complete a Hacker Earth test from Amazon . But i felt not prepared and didn't even try it thinking i might fail and they might not shortlist me the next time when i apply again after preparing .
Do they track any data like who didn't attend the test so they can ignore them next time? Or if i prepare good enough and reapply again after 3 to 4 months would this cause any issue?

Run. Terrible pay, horrendously repetitive work. Delivery center is our “onshoring” model. We underpay practitioners to become experts in one thing, staff them in a low COL place, pay the garbage, and then demand they churn out the same deliverable day after day.
For example, you may be a lease testing specialist. You’ll do lease testing for audit teams all over the US, and that’s all you’ll do.
Or you’ll do report formatting.
We use the delivery centers the same way we use our india offshore resources, when the client requires all staff be US citizens.
not to mention USDC does not get the same benefits as core audit (less pto, no paternity/maternity, no pension, no/low bonuses, etc)
I would not expect they are actually capped at 40 hours. at the end of the day it’s still client service and if your team is behind you bet you’ll be working over 40.
Salary is probably 60-70k for a senior. Our USDC is based out of Gilbert, AZ so it’s “lcol” pay even though you are remote. A core audit S1 is around 75k, and usdc is around 10-15% less than core pay
Happy to help refer! I think I know someone from this team and can gather any more info as needed as well
I have a ton of friends that work at Deloitte’s DC. Pay is 20% or so less than working at a normal office. They don’t work you very much. Some of my friends did their masters degree while working full-time and they were even able to do homework at the office some days. Personally, I would never work there. You don’t get the good exit ops and your pay is worse than the already low pay in PA.
You can still get the good exit ops, we do the same audit work and depending on the client things can change. The pay is definitely not the best but while you guys have to go into the office and travel for clients, we get to stay remote and not worry about traffic 😅
Delivery center workers are the closers for crappy audits that fell behind
Don't do it

Would this really be that bad ? I saw a similar role at KPMG but for an Exp. Associate level. I mean at my LCOL area even Sr. roles don’t get paid more than $60k in industry so I was tempted to apply.
PM I work for the adc 😅
