I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

It’s cute how D1 thinks the toxicity is limited to those levels.
Congratulations!! I stayed at D far too long and it scarred me. Best to get out before the toxic SM and PPD levels.
It’s toxic at every level so far. My project lead knows 1/100 as much as me and always swings dick in client meetings. It’s part of the job to accept it, so I do, but always keeping options open for jobs in the back of my mind. Suck it up until you find a job you want and bounce gracefully
And it’s not just at D
2 weeks is standard and you get paid out for unused PTO
I know that as soon as I quit I’m going to regret not doing it sooner. Had an expensive year though, and nearing my savings goal soon!
