Yes ladies and gents, and if you plan all your miscellaneous family life events (aka reproducing) correctly, you may have the opportunity of screwing over your current engagement team during busy times

funny

You can also start your own life events geez

I’d ask for the policy, the devil is in the detail. EY requires you have 1 year of service prior to qualifying for the leave. Seems stupid not to have a qualifying period. Otherwise, someone may move to the firm, take leave, then quit when they come back, leaving the firm with no recourse

EY requires 1 year of service. At least they did 3 years ago

Nope, I took maternity leave 6 months after starting. Full benefits/pay, same as any employee

Does anyone know how long you have to be employed with PwC to receive full maternity/paternity benefits?

6 months

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

For those of us working with Healthcare clients or in Healthcare, what can we start doing to accelerate healthy change in the industry. It seems like so many people need support and guidance with OCM.

I have $20k in savings, I owe $6,000 to my 401k loan, that’s the only loan I got. I am debt free otherwise except for my house. Should I use my savings to pay off? Since people are talking about unemployment and being fired, I wanted to make sure I have enough, 👩🏾‍💻... What should I do? I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

Hi Fishes,
My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
