Does LTI provide reimbursement for WFH setup ?
Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Favorite office chair?
Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Thanks!!
Gaming / race-car chair.. I've had one for the past few months (pre-covid) and never experienced back pains or numb legs from sitting too long. One of the best ~$100 you'll spend!
I’d be careful with this, I once spent 170 dollars on a gaming chair on amazon and it was the most uncomfortable POS I’ve ever sat in. I recently went to office max and picked up a 270$ ergonomic chair and it was money well spent. I’d definitely recommend being able to actually sit in something before committing to spending good money on a chair.

I highly disapprove of the autonomous ergochair .. get HM if you can find it cheap or push the budget a little bit.

I bought both; autonomous and HM. The autonomous is not comfortable at all. Neither my husband nor I could sit comfortably in it after a few months of use. HM is far superior, so I don’t know how autonomous has so much support. Probably mostly marketing ? The fact that they give referral bonus might skew the online support as well.
A lot of people on the thread only say “ I hear great things about autonomous”. I have yet to see someone who bought it and wholeheartedly/genuinely supports it. When I do, they usually aren’t comparing it to a more expensive, real quality chair like HM. If you have the extra cash to spend, HM is definitely worth it.
