Anyone interviewed at Apple for a product manager job before? What are the questions they ask you during the interview?
Received a call from consultancy.. She said forwarded my resume to two clients and there will be a communication interview alone. As I'm from technical support I'm little bit afraid to attend this bcz whatever they ask she asked me to provide positive response. Like Is it okay to handle both technical and customer she asked me to tell yes . But I'm afraid to tell. Is this really genuine.
How did you break into Product management ? I’ve been applying to Associate Product Management roles for 2 years(over 400 applications), and only got 3 interviews . I’ve worked as an Operations M, Sn Sales representative and recently a Project M. I’ve done side projects , tailored my resume, connected with recruiters , for all that time I’ve been expanding my knowledge, getting Google UX design certification and Product Management specialization courses . 2 years later, I’m still looking.
Starting to interview for LinkedIn BizOps - what skills should I try to highlight / does anyone have advice for the behavioral / case rounds? What technical skills are required or sought after?
I have an interview with Google in a little over a week and I feel completely unprepared. I’ve been grinding Leetcode but it seems like no matter how much I do it, I need more time
What's the internal job transfer protocol for PwC? Do I really have to contact my RL first before applying anywhere? I'd like to stay in the same office and don't really care about getting a higher salary. Just want to stay at PwC in a tax related role (which is what I'm in now, just more niche).
My profile has been shortlisted for JAVA developer and I have experience in Oracle DBA. They just scheduled the meeting. Any idea, what they can ask? Related to Java or my experience? What should I do? Should I fake experience? Or stay put to my experience and attend the interview?
Anyone with recent experience of applying and receiving fresh L2 EAD? Wondering if online application is fine or should go through immigration attorney.. and how long did it take. Based on California. TIA
So, Agoda. What’s up with this recruiting process? No info on comp, just constant bragging about how they have members from FAANG from around the world joining, and that should be enough to convince you to consider relocating to Bangkok and undergo 5 - 6 rounds of interviews, a 30 minute assessment and a 2 day case study?
Rejecting an offer. What’s the best way to do it? Love their work, the interviews but $ is not enough to justify the move. Help. 🙏
Im in my second month at KPMG. Bain just reached out to me to interview from an application I submitted back in June. The resume Bain has doesn’t show I just started my new job. How should I approach the situation if I’d like to someday end up at Bain.
I was HC approved, but told that the hiring manager is still deciding on which candidate to offer the job to. How often are folks successfully matched with teams they didn’t initially interview for?
Just received a verbal offer from Accenture but have a call with Deloitte later. Should I cancel on Deloitte or take the interview? 👀
What time of the day is best to call an investment banker to follow up with him on the results of your interview?
Would you take a job with this many red flags if you were desperate to get out of public? If so, what salary/comp would you need? 1. I’m interviewing for an Assistant Controller role at a medium-sized manufacturing company. 2. The interview process has consisted of 7 rounds (2 phone interviews and 5 separate Teams calls). 3. I’ve had to prepare multiple PowerPoint presentations. 4. The job positions of the VP of Finance and Controller (both of whom I interviewed) were just posted LinkedIn.
Felling a little conflicted: I have an interview to exit consulting into industry. They are offering a 50% increase in salary, no travel. On the other hand, I love my current team and client but...
Was just notified after three rounds of interviews that they weren’t going to move forward with me...no reason given. I was perfect for the job and really thought I had it. Absolutely crushed right now. Been 6 months, not sure what else I can do.
What’s the best way to find a job? I’m tired of applying on LinkedIn, websites, cold messaging recruiters for an interview. I just can’t seem to land something. Any feedback?
Help bouncing back when you don’t get that in house job that felt like the perfect fit and strung you along for 2 interviews and almost 2 months? I am so miserable working at a law firm and I can’t seem to get out, even when I’m told my applications are great and the interviews seem to go well. I’m a sixth year associate so I have plenty of experience.
Anyone else have random requirements for the schools you’re applying to? One of mine is that the school must have an FBS football team
Probably not the best bowl, but does anyone have insight/experience with Amazon’s recruiting process for HQ2. A recruiter reached out for a PM position; did the first phone screen, immediately heard back about proceeding to a second phone screen; had the second one, recruiter immediately followed up saying they were waiting to hear from the hiring team and it’s been radio silence for a week+ now. I assume I’m no longer under consideration… Thoughts/insight?
When I first got my H1-B visa stamp, it was valid for 5 years. Do I need to get a new stamp after getting an extension? Thank you.
Help! There is an assistant that works in my building that is downright rude and demeaning to both staff and students alike. She yells at us for bringing our kids to lunch right on time (when our 30 min lunch begins as well). She always complains about literally everything! We can make complaints for a team of staff and admin to try to correct, but cannot name specific people. I know for a fact a parent has already made 2 complaints this year, but I feel like more has to be brought up.
Any CLT 🐠? Looking to make a move there. Have kids/married so not looking to live downtown. Any recommendations on areas to live within 30 minute of airport?
Hi fishes , Anyone needs referral @Kpmg global services private limited. Feel free to reach out . Skills:
My H1B is expiring this year and my company has filed for renewal. With cases in India escalating and visa appointments limited (currently only August is open) - is there a way to get it restamped in the US?
Do you have a place where you're able to lock up your stuff in your classroom? I don't and I'm not sure if I should make a big deal about it.
Covid19 - the facts Is it ok to start a thread here guys ? I work with the TechHandbook and also keeping a good eye on Ruqqus Covid19 https://coronavirustechhandbook.com/
Hear me out. Work part time remote, part time in-agency, and live in another city. Rent a studio near the agency. Insane? Love the job opportunity but can’t move my family right now. Am I kidding myself?
With so many professionals working from home due to Covid-19, what are your tips / strategies for being productive when WFH?
What are peoples experiences and thoughts on requesting to work remote every Fri? It was healthy for me having this in consulting... Seeing if I can ‘secure’ this before accepting a StratOps offer...
What is the job description of a teacher? At what point should we set boundaries regarding what we are being asked to do in the classroom on a psycho-social level? Teachers should be empathetic, stern, and kind, but at what point does that cross the line into therapy? Is it the teachers turn to push back regarding our job descriptions?
I want to start on the chfc and cfp but the courses are 8k through American college. Is there a better alternative out there? I definitely think there's value in them but that's a bit steep for me
Are consulting firms going to be hiring at the entry level as usual? Will it be more competitive? Looking to moving into consulting 1+ years experience out of undergrad
Do you feel that there is sense in timing exit, seasonally speaking, for better opportunities? As in, do you think opps will be better in Jan after holiday season since tend to wind down in the latter months of the year, or does that even matter in this type of job market?
What is the market practice for expense policy for global consultant trainings? Do you guys get to cover transport, fly on premium seats, use data roaming, etc? Asking because I feel my firm is unbelievably stingy but maybe my view is just too entitled. Shared transport, fly economy on long hauls, no mobile roaming?!
Fair to assume all of MBB to be “Thought Leaders” in Media & Entertainment? If not, what consulting firms are?
At your firm, how would you say internal initiatives/ ENGs are split by gender? Flipping through some of ours, I’m seeing the majority are women. How can we get men more involved?
