Did anyone gave data Scientist interview at EY recently and received offer ?

strategists - do you feel like it’s really hard to switch to brand side? been having little to no luck getting even initial interviews with any brand side gig let alone FAANG gigs. what am I doing wrong?

Hi all, following my interview rounds with Amazon, the recruiter reached out to arrange a call to discuss positive feedback and run through some information before pushing to next steps. What can I expect the call to be about? I figured if it was an offer, they would just send it through. Any insight is appreciated!

I have a job offer I'm considering and everyone I've spoken to in interviews has been great. But the recruitment process itself was clunky, slow, and not applicant-friendly. Does that indicate my experience working there will be bad? Or is it more important to look at the actual content of the interviews, which was good? For context, the company is owned by an equity firm and it seems like some of the bureaucracy is coming from them.

Do we have consulting roles in SAP? If so, what’s the package offered to 2 YOE?
And do we have department for this role in Delhi office?
What is the interview process?

How important are “events” when applying to schools? Thinking things like info sessions, campus visits, etc. Do they help your odds of being accepted?

I just want to say to the recruiters at this company, who insinuate that a potential candidate has the opportunity to become hire, only to call them by phone and say “we didn’t “ pick you is unprofessional and tasteless. Remember you were once a candidate and one day may have to be a candidate again. Getting somewhat of an understanding how the culture is from the interview, I am glad that first I have a job and that I didn’t get picked.

I had a really weird interview for Creative Director today.

It’s a small startup. HR interviewed me and asked all the hard hitting questions (how do you get design inspiration, how do you deal with design roadblocks, what sets you apart for this role?) which I thought was odd for a screening interview.

They made some affirmative noises then said the next step would be a design test (one pager) which I would present to a panel of interviewers including the CMO.
Anyone else think this is odd?

What’s your strategy when job hunting and what has worked for you? Do you prefer to mass apply or find jobs through network? If working full time, when do you apply for jobs? When do you prepare for interviews? How long has it taken you from start of job hunt till getting that call and offer?

Currently 2nd year associate in valuation (started September 2019). Have had some pretty promising interviews at a pretty reputable MM boutique investment bank. This is what I want my next step to be, but I don’t want the stigma of someone who works at a place for a year then hops around. Should I wait until end of year 2 to move?

I had an interview in LTI for a .Net Developer position. There were 2 technical rounds and I got selected. I received an email from the recruiter to submit the documents and EAF. I had submitted the requested documents the same day. The recruiter told me that she will schedule the HR round.

I was following up with her, and after a month she messaged me on WhatsApp and said, the HR round can't be scheduled because my expected CTC is her maximum budget. Seriously 😳

Hi all, I am a data scientist and I hold an offer for Ml engineer. I wanted some insights if both these roles could be the same or shall I look out for jobs in data science only.

I have recently joined BIG3 firm as analyst . I was very excited before joining but the team I am being put in has all maintanence project. I can't ask for team change for atleast 6 to 8 months.

On a positive side I am put on one AI product project where I can do some analysis based on client queries. Mostly using pandas and cloud technologies.
