Been looking for some time at Director level positions. Most fetch upto $200k all-in-all, base/bonus/stock combined. Have seen only one outlier in my search that had potential for 250k, but that was in NYC, so cost of living wise that factored out.
At one company I know, Directors make 200-low 300s total comp. however, how senior a director is varies a lot between companies
It can vary a lot depending how “senior” of a Director position it is. Typically they should be competitive and a small bump up in salary. If it’s not, then the position might not be the level
Really depends on position. If the position is geared toward ex-consultants then they know what it needs to be to be competitive/attractive. I’ve seen companies where it’s way low and also Sr Director thats competitive with a Director level consultant on a cash basis before equity
