I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

Of course, any idea that sells thru is the CD/ECDs idea. That’s why they go to Cannes.
Yes, the idea is mine. Kidding, kidding. Yeah, of course I know who did what.

Are you talking about you and your copywriter? Then it shouldn’t matter who the idea is from.
I don't think they care as long as it's a good idea. I think a lot of teams concept individually these days anyway, a hangover from the remote days.
*whose [think his, hers, whose]
who’s [a contraction of who is]
You shouldn’t be concepting separately. You should make the ideas together. Sit in the same room and think of ideas together. Or if you work remote, start a Zoom session and let it run for 2 hours straight where you both talk about ideas. Not 30 minutes. Audio call each other the rest of the day when ideas pop into your head. Nothing is concepted solo.
Honestly haven’t thought about “who came up with the idea” in so long. The feeling of ownership of that initial spark has disappeared
Usually, yeah. You get to know everyone’s style/sensibilities.
It’s good you’re presenting together. I’ve got teams coming into reviews with completely different bodies of work and a clear sign that they hate each other.
No not really. Unless you pull some sort of passive aggressive “hey why don’t you read this one since you’re more familiar with it” move.
hey i dont want to read something that sucks
Yes
Hopefully they are involved enough with their team to be able to tell whose ideas are who’s. If not then they need to spend more time with their people.
Yes I can usually tell by the writing style and types of early support visuals
