I got selected in Infosys and offer was about to get release today but at last minute suddenly today infy HR told I was interviewed 5 months 20 days before in infosys so they cannot proceed now as 6 months cool off period. Looking to get a bit of insight on breaking into tech working as an executive assistant after working for BigLaw for 20+ years.

I've been applying to tech companies for executive assistant positions - in particular, remote work positions - and I have yet to get a nibble.

I'm extremely tech savvy and have a lot of initiative but I am afraid that these companies are put off by how long I've been working assuming that I am a middle-aged woman that is not able to go with the flow.

Taking Concerta in the AM doesn’t give me enough coverage for the whole day. I take it the moment my alarm goes off in the morning at (usually) 6am. Which is great for my morning, but by 3pm I’m starting to fray apart, bouncing around between tasks and getting progressively more distractible and demotivated.

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.
