M7 mba candidate, and looking at post mba options. Main plan is finance, but open to staying in consulting if the money is right. What is the post mba salary like in consulting at any of the shops?

The downside of living in a "redder" area of the country now is people tend to see the sparkly unicorn (me) when conducting job interviews and not look at my qualifications. But today I think I made some progress with an interview at a small CPA firm for a non-CPA role. Might not be a perfect fit but I got good vibes from the lead office Partner there.
