Do most companies ask when you can start? Leaving my position soon and want to take some time off. Is it possible to start later than 2 weeks after being notified of a position?

Yes. Even if they give you a start date on the offer letter just shoot the recruiter a note saying that.

Yes. If you want a late start then just say so. I’m taking December off.

I asked them to move mine back 2 weeks after they gave me the offer. It wasn’t an issue

If they want you, they will push the date.

I started 4 weeks after my background check cleared so I could get my bonus. They were very amenable.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?

As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.
