How does the career graph of business analyst (for business analysis and not analytics) look like?

I have 8 yoe as a manual qa and have been offered the position of business analyst within the company. Want to know the scope before telling a yes.

What do you all think is the upper limit range for someone in an account manager role at a tech firm? What’s the career path? My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. Hello, Need an advice on my offer from Deloitte. I am on OPT and looking for H1B sponsorship this year, recruiter said they will do it but I am wondering if I join after 2 weeks will they be able to do it as there won’t be much time left. My current company will file H1 for me. I got an offer for a consultant role at D with 25$k extra than my current salary and 10$k sign in bonus but I am currently working as a Sr Con. Is it advisable to take a risk in my case considering H1 as a priority?

How do I measure what I'm "worth" in the market? I know YOE play a role, but I don't know how to measure based on perf or whatnot. What makes one person worth more than another for the same role?
