Do y’all actually use strict STAR method in your interviews? Like I have 5-7 stories, examples I try to memorize/have ingrained in my mind, and then be able to apply to different specific questions. I usually just try to answer thoroughly and explain what I did and my impact, but often don’t use specific numbers or results or numbers….i just try to sound authentic and natural. I’ve found that when I try to answer in strict STAR format, I sound fake and scripted….

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.
