Can we take leaves while serving NP?
Hi all, I am working at Natwest Group RBS and I have recently applied for Product Manager Role(gurgaon) in Gartner. How much CTC I should ask and what is the general hike and bonus they give on yearly basis and can someone provide some insights on work life balance and leave policy?

I just wish they would drop the farce and just call it what it actually ends up being, discretionary
I work at a place that has unlimited PTO, and nobody tells you about the unwritten or even overt pressure to not abuse it. There's always the talk of "it could go away" if people aren't respectful with it. Plus, you don't want to burden your team by being gone for a super long time. I actually take less PTO than when I had a limited amount, ironically enough.
Preach. It’s this weird pressure when you ask to take off… and if you are in a start up culture your workload burden gets pushed onto others—- which creates the new awkward pressure like you shouldn’t take off for a week.
Unlimited PTO doesn’t really mean unlimited.
Sometimes unlimited PTO can feel like a sneaky way to avoid paying out unused days. Employees feel pressured to stay glued to their desks because they don't want to "abuse" the system.
Depends on location though. Some regions (eg. Canada) require that a min number of vacation days need to be paid out regardless
