Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
(already passed my LWD: 2nd nov)
Why we gotta have resumes, just trust me bro...
Acceptance is the answer.

Most resumes I've seen, including mine, have an additional section for exactly this. You can include hobbies, travel achievements, other things you like to do
I include that I am an Eagle Scout. For me, it was my first award for years of commitment to something, so I find it pretty valuable.
After a quick perusal of a candidate’s experience and education I always look at the bottom for activities/interests. If they have something interesting about them I usually interview them and will always ask about it.
I think it’s interesting, but depending on what it is and the company culture I might tailor it like anything else on the resume depending on how it could be perceived. Ie. marathon runner - might be looked at as a great accomplishment (which I agree with) might be looked at as a major time commitment.
You could also use this as a data point during the interview as to what the company values.
As someone who is a non-competitive power lifter I feel like putting my weightlifting total on my resume would get a response of what does that mean or this person is a meathead and isn’t qualified for a role.
Anything that points to relevant experience i think should be added. Completing a marathon shows dedication, follow through, grit and a someone vested in their well being. Definitely characteristics you want in employees
The second section that I look at, after experience, is interests/activities. Would like to work with someone that has mutual and/or cool interests IMO
I include it. I do a lot outside of work with volunteering abs professional organizations.
I include a section for activities, which are mostly volunteer experiences. But, your post is making me reconsider my selections, I probably should include something more attention grabbing.
I love that for the candidate! Hope you all find someone who is the perfect fit.
I include only personal achievements that I believe can correlate to the roles I'm seeking. In the scenario you presented, the marathon completion could align with a role that requires a great deal of discipline and determination.
No. Keep your personal life personal.
Depends. I don’t see it as a hard rule, but people sometimes are grasping to put stuff in a section someone told them was a must. Being a Sunday School teacher—don’t include (and yes someone has done this or I wouldn’t say it). Marathon, absolutely for the reasons noted above.
