Do you need a master’s degree (MBA, MS, etc) to pivot from consulting to tech?

I’m looking to make the move to London — what are good smaller shops there? Any recommendations for how to take the plunge into shifting from the states to there? How to get an in into networking etc

3 YOE, including 1 in consulting. what level would/should I aim to join McKinsey at? Currently a C at Deloitte.

A question from a youngster. Is working at a big big company with slightly low pay better or working at a much smaller company with higher pay better?

In the future, after a few years, let’s say I’m at a small company and want to switch to big big company, will the “small names” hurt my chance to get into the big doors?

I mean big big company is like 10x bigger than the small one if this was a factor. Assume everything else the same, WLB, commute, teams, etc.

What do you all think is the upper limit range for someone in an account manager role at a tech firm? What’s the career path? Was there anything you’ve done in terms of upskilling that resulted in increased pay? Or should I just pick something else if I want to be making more than what I make atm ~150k TC with 6 years exp.

Question for those of us that dabble across data science and not just excel. I want to get some good training on SQL. Anybody know the best certification program that has the best cache in the market?

Anyone have experience in raising capital out of the Middle East (Jordan, Kuwait, SA)? Any experience in delivering solutions in that area? I am trying to figure out if a pursuit in that area is to much of a risk. Any insight is appreciated.

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

Anyone familiar with working for Kiavi/LendingHome? My experience is in private equity and structured products, I’ve been wanting to leave that and enter real estate for a while. They’re a self-proclaimed FinTech organization and I’m not at all familiar with that kind of structure for a company.

I see posts on the Women in Consulting group where everyone seems to be spending what seems to be extravagant for my liking ($200+), and was curious if that was a desi vs American thing..

Do you think women in the industry are paid lesser as compared to men.
Out of personal experience ,I can see that during compensation discussion HR person tries to convince a women candidate for a lesser package . Now this could also be the case where it is much easier to convince women to take up the job for lesser salary.
Whereas the male team member gets paid high (same YOE , same number of switch , similar prev CTC) though women are equally or more talented sometimes.
