Windows by far
Pro
Why?
I've always preferred Windows. It's just more adaptable. You're not pushed onto some weird island of incompatibility.
Pro
Where do you run into incompatibility?
I have used windows all my life and my company uses windows so this is an easy answer for windows. Windows feels simple to use and outside of copilot doesn’t change too much.
At home and for my small business, Ubuntu Linux. I only use Windows at my day job because someone is paying me to use Windows.
Windows all the way. It's far more flexible and doesn't control how you use it. It lets you easily peek under the hood and make changes. Apple products across the board are far too restrictive and is made for the lowest common denominator.
macOS.
Pro
Me too but most of my work needs to be done on windows
Windows for work applications, but Mac for personal use.
Pro
I like Mac for applications but my company doesn’t really support it
Windows
Mac at home windows at work
It depends, if working on iOS development would prefer macOS or else Windows. No preference in short
Linux because there's so much IT Nannyware for Windows and (less) for Mac, but so little on Linux.
Windows far more appropriate and universally used in civil engineering
I used to be a huge Mac person but then my Macbook crapped out and they were so expensive that I switched to a Windows computer and I am so glad I did. Windows is so much easier to use than Mac in my opinion. I could never go back.
Windows for me. Mainly, because it is considered the standard and most people/companies use it.
