The ideal situation is to have both a bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
Depends on the type of law. Biglaw tends to want bachelors degrees
If you are already in the legal field and working in a law firm you may be able to transition to a paralegal role with ease without a Bachelors. But if you aren't in a firm or are working somewhere with nonupward options, then school may help.
I agree with P3 and really you may just need a certification not even a bachelors. Experience is the most important. If you have none, try the cert OR look at the job postings to see the requirements and decide which makes the most financial sense. None of the jobs I had cared about my degree and the hiring I help with now doesn’t even bother to check for it; just experience.
I don’t have a bachelors degree yet but most of my coworkers do. I am currently working on it and wish I had done it sooner, even though I have experience.
