Do you use AI in your applications? I found it very helpful in updating resume and preparing interviews. I recently did a mock interview with AI tool and found it very helpful. I’m unsure how AI use is perceived in hiring. Is AI usage now a differentiator, or do hiring teams still view it cautiously?

I got invited to a second round interview with a big company. The title sounds more senior than my current title, but the work responsibilities feel like a step down. I am wondering if I should still interview (to see if they will consider me for my desired role instead or at least, get some interview practice for when a better opportunity comes along). Thoughts? Is it ok to reject the offer if they make one, on the grounds of the role not being a good fit for me.
