There are a couple in my office, but think about it... we work in an industry that requires you to be able to back up most of your decisions with an explanation that is reasonable to a certain degree. Most of us also bill at 6 minute intervals. Put those two things together and you wind up with very few smokers.

I remember when people smoked in the office! Crazy to think about now. Most people don’t smoke in our profession. It’s really not socially acceptable to smell like cigarette smoke at work.
Only in the US, our colleagues in Europe and Asia smoke like chimneys.
I work with a few. Two super sneeky and three who stink all the time
Im glad that public accounting doesnt have that many smokers. The conference rooms start to stink after a while and smell of stale smoke doesnt help. I am glad that I don’t work with a smoker!
How can you be a closet smoker? It’s really noticeable?
About a third. I don't think they are super big smokers though, maybe one or two breaks a day and no one really smells

The industry skews on the young side, mid 20s. People don’t smoke like they did 20+ years ago.
Definitely have smokers but most are typically very discreet about it or don’t smoke at work
A lot of us closet smokers use e-cigs/vapes during the day. Nicotine cravings are real, I can work 2x as long if I’m at home and can access nicotine versus in the office w/o
I know one smoker on my team in the US. When I was actually in Europe, my entire group smoked. I was disgusted by how many young intelligent people eagerly wasted their money and health.
Lol nobody can afford to take breaks bullshit I’ve. Burned through a couple packs at work and will go outside and smoke weed in my car sometimes. But that being said I am about to quit public accounting

Most I know who were smokers switched to dip bc they can do it somewhat discretely. Now with snus, you can get your nic hit with no one knowing. Surprising number of people doing snus.
It’s interesting. I’ve seen two men smoke outside the building, not in my group though

Multiple people on my team rip heaters outside and it smells like it as soon as they walk in every time
