Take them to lots of lunches and for coffee paid for by the company. Introduce them to lots of people

Jesus Christ, if you need guidance on this, then you have problems. It's pretty easy and basic, introduce them to people, answer questions, etc etc partake in their intern events.

Do you even get to choose to be one? They just assign them to people in my group. Just don't be the people giving them Kool-aid. Leave that to the partners
OP give me a scenario to give you specific actions? I wasn't assigned to be a buddy to any interns - but my buddies (associates) and interns (from my team) still reach out to me for anything they need - professional or personal advice. Just be a good friend to them, probably as you would be to your college buddies.
Be realistic but still partially oversell the Big 4 experience. Don't let them have down time and try to get them so on-site time at client.
That's what I'm worried about ^ it's going to be hard for me to find a balance between negativity and honesty. I'm not going to lie to them, but at the same time I want to actually tell them how things work and how I feel about them but I feel like I can't do that because it's going to scare them away
If you are scared that the truth will turn them away, then it's a sign the job is a piece of shit that you are personally sick of. If you can't sell what you do and be proud of it, you should find something else to do.
